Terms of Service

1. Booking & Payments

To secure your wedding date, a signed bridal contract and a £75 non-refundable booking fee are required.

Your booking fee reserves your wedding date exclusively in my diary. It is non-transferable, non-refundable and is separate from the total cost of your bridal package.

Dates are not confirmed until both the signed contract and booking fee have been received. Verbal or email confirmation alone does not secure your booking.

Your final balance is due 48 hours before your wedding day. Your invoice will be issued at the beginning of your wedding month. Please do not make payment until your invoice has been issued.

Payments must be made from the bride's bank account only. Split payments from multiple parties are not accepted.

Accepted payment methods are bank transfer or cash.

2. Bridal Preview

Your bridal preview is included within your bridal package and can be booked once your wedding date has been secured.

Previews are usually held 8–12 weeks before your wedding at my Northampton studio and are available Monday to Friday only.

It is the bride's responsibility to ensure reasonable weekday availability for the preview. If a preview cannot be arranged due to the bride's availability, no refund or discount will be given.

The bridal preview forms part of your overall bridal package and is not available as a standalone refundable service once your wedding booking has been confirmed.

3. Cancellations & Amendments

All cancellations must be be made in writing via email.

Your booking fee is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-deductible under all circumstances.

Bridal party numbers may be reduced up to 60 days before your wedding date.

Within 60 days of your wedding, no reductions to booked services can be made and no refunds will be given for cancelled or removed services.

If your entire wedding booking is cancelled within 30 days of your wedding date, the full remaining balance will still be payable.

Wedding dates may be transferred once, subject to my availability. If I am unavailable for the new date, the cancellation terms above will apply.

4. Travel & Additional Fees

Travel exceeding 5 miles from NN2 is charged at £0.45 per mile (round trip).

Parking charges, tolls and overnight accommodation (where required) will be added to your final invoice.

A £50 early start fee applies where makeup is required to begin before 6:00am.

If preparation takes place across multiple locations, a £35 relocation fee will apply.

5. Bridal Parties & Additional Artists

Where required, I may arrange an additional professional makeup artist to ensure everyone is ready on time.

A coordination fee will apply where an additional artist is required and will be discussed before booking.

I remain your lead artist and manage all communication and payment with any additional artists.

All members of the bridal party must be ready at their allocated time. Delays may result in shortened appointment times or services being unable to be completed. No refunds will be given where delays are outside of my control.

6. Working Environment

A clean, well-lit working area with access to electricity and sufficient table space must be provided.

To ensure a calm and organised wedding morning, children, pets and unnecessary interruptions should be kept away from the makeup area wherever possible.

I reserve the right to pause or discontinue services if the working environment is considered unsafe or unsuitable.

7. Health & Allergies

Clients are responsible for informing me of any allergies, skin conditions, sensitivities or relevant medical conditions before their appointment.

Although every care is taken and strict hygiene standards are followed, I cannot accept responsibility for allergic reactions where reasonable care has been taken and no known allergy has been disclosed.

Patch testing is available upon request.

8. Force Majeure

In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond my reasonable control prevent me from carrying out your booking, every reasonable effort will be made to fulfil the booking or arrange a suitable replacement where possible.

Booking fees remain non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date at my discretion, subject to availability.

9. Photography & Social Media

Photographs and videos taken during your bridal preview or wedding morning may be used for my portfolio, website and social media unless you notify me in writing before your wedding day that you wish to opt out.

10. Replacement Artist

If I am unable to attend your wedding due to illness or an unforeseen emergency, I will make every reasonable effort to arrange a fully qualified replacement makeup artist.

If a replacement cannot be arranged, or you choose not to accept one, any monies paid towards makeup services (excluding the booking fee) will be refunded.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By paying your booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service.

The Terms of Service in place at the time of booking will apply for the duration of your booking.
