Terms of service.
1. Booking & Payments
To secure your wedding date, a signed contract and a £50 non-refundable, non-deductible booking fee are required.
Your booking fee reserves your wedding date exclusively in my diary and is separate from the total service cost.
Dates remain unconfirmed until both the signed contract and booking fee have been received.
The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your wedding day. An invoice will be issued at the start of your wedding month.
Payments must be made from the bride’s bank account only. Split payments are not accepted.
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer or cash.
2. Bridal Preview
A bridal preview is included within your bridal package and is available once your wedding date has been secured.
Previews are typically scheduled 8–12 weeks before your wedding and take place at my studio in Northampton. Appointments are held Monday to Friday, as Saturdays are reserved for weddings.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure weekday availability. Missed or unscheduled previews do not entitle the client to any refund.
If you choose not to proceed following your preview, the booking fee remains non-refundable.
3. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the wedding date remain payable in full.
Reductions in booked services must be confirmed no later than 6 weeks before the wedding date. After this point, no reductions or refunds will be made.
Booking fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
Wedding date transfers may be accommodated once, subject to availability.
4. Travel & Additional Fees
Travel exceeding 5 miles from NN2 is charged at £0.45 per mile (round trip).
Parking charges and overnight accommodation (if required) will be added to your final invoice.
An early start fee of £50 applies for bookings requiring a start time before 6:00am.
If preparation takes place across multiple venues, a £35 relocation fee will apply.
5. Bridal Parties & Additional Artists
For larger bridal parties, an additional artist may be arranged if required. A £150 coordination fee applies.
I remain the lead artist and manage payment to any additional artists.
All bridal party members must be present and ready at their allocated time to avoid delays.
6. Working Environment
A clean, well-lit workspace with access to electricity and adequate surface space must be provided.
Children, pets and additional guests should not disrupt the working area during application.
I reserve the right to pause or cease services if working conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
7. Health & Allergies
Clients must disclose any allergies, sensitivities or medical conditions prior to services.
While strict hygiene standards are followed, I cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions where reasonable care has been taken.
Patch tests are available upon request.
8. Force Majeure
In circumstances beyond reasonable control (including severe weather or government restrictions), every reasonable effort will be made to fulfil the booking.
Booking fees remain non-refundable but may be transferable to a new date, subject to availability.
9. Photography & Media
Photographs or videos taken during your appointment may be used for portfolio, website or social media purposes unless you opt out in writing prior to your wedding day.
10. Replacement Artist
In the unlikely event I am unable to attend due to illness or emergency, a fully qualified replacement artist will be offered.
If declined, a refund for makeup services (excluding the booking fee) will be issued.
11. Agreement
Payment of the booking fee confirms acceptance of these terms.
The version of terms in effect at the time of booking will apply.
